School User Privacy Policy

During an NQT induction period at a school registered with Babcock LDP who operates as their appropriate body there is a statutory requirement for the NQT, NQT mentor/tutor and Head Teacher to be registered with us through our online provider NQT Manager as part of our contractual agreement with Devon County Council / or the academy who are legally obliged to hold these records.

As part of this service we will collect the following information: • NQT Personal Information: Name, email address, date of birth, school, Teacher Reference Number (TRN), performance assessments • Tutor Personal Information: Name, email address, school • Head Teacher: Name, Email Address, School

We will use this information to: • Maintain our database of NQTs • Record NQT details on the Department for Education secure portal • Maintain records as specified by the Department for Education as the NQT appropriate body

We will share this information with the Department for Education as per the statutory guidance for the process. The information will not be shared or processed for any other purpose. The information will be kept for 6 years following the completion of the NQT year as is required by the Department for Education. Following this period it will be securely disposed of.
